Now this is the dirt on the project. Are we to the cement yet? No....but very close.

Trenching!!!!!!

The trench work is done. It is time to have the county come out and check the project so we can pour cement. Eric and I leave for Vegas on Sunday so we don't want to start this until we are back. I think cement will be next weeks adventure. This is really exciting! Eric is chomping at the bit......

Its sooooo cold out here!

Gotta love a great fire once in a while....or more like everyday. Eric is here every chance he gets. He wishes he didn't have to work so he could do what he loves doing best......being outdoors.

Girls can build houses too!

Well I'm not really driving this....yet. I want to just drive this sooo bad. Eric keeps telling me I can drive it soon! And look you can't even see me. I'm in camoflauge.....and heels of course!

The Forms are in!!!!!

January 6th the forms are in!!!

We finally have some lumber on the ground. We were very excited today to drive up and see the outlining of the house. Eric had a smile from ear to ear. These are just baby steps but we can't stop smiling right now :) Eric will have to head down to the County to try and complete the process of the permit. Next is concrete!!! Bring it on, I say!

Timber!!!!!!!

We are getting ready to lay the forms in the ground for pouring the foundation. We had to clean up around the building site so we can clean up and be ready for the next phase!!!! The tree branch had to come down.
